HOW TO PREPARE COFFEE IN A MOKA Teapot?

We have described the preparation of coffee in a mocha teapot in more detail for you, although the preparation itself is simple and basically it is only about filling the bottom container with water, filling the middle part with coffee and placing it on the stove. Instructions on how to make coffee using a mocha kettle

1. Fill the lower container with water (ideally filtered water), up to the limit given by the safety valve.
2. Grind the coffee to a medium fine roughness (corresponds to the roughness of the sand), preparing coffee in a mocha pot is not prone to precise grinding.
3. Insert the funnel and pour the required amount of ground coffee into it . For 3 cups of mocha coffee you need 15 g of coffee and about 160 ml of water. The coffee strainer should always be full, leveled. However, if you want weaker coffee, you can remove a small part of the coffee. Do not squeeze the coffee in any way, just smooth its surface and make sure that there is no coffee at the edges of the funnel and in the thread.
4. Attach the upper container and screw in (not by pressing on the handle, otherwise the handle may break!).
5. Place the mocha teapot on a heat source and let it boil. If you are cooking on a gas stove, make sure that the flame is at most the size of the bottom of the kettle and does not extend beyond its edges. Always cook at medium power on your stove to avoid rapid extraction and burning.
6. Never wait for all the water to drain up from the bottom container. The mocha coffee will then start to heat up and burn too much over time and the resulting drink will not be as good. Try to remove the kettle from the stove just before the extraction is completed, the moment you hear a distinctive "bubbling" sound. The extraction can also be stopped by immersing the mocha kettle in cold water when finished.
7. You can now serve coffee.
8. When the kettle has cooled down completely, unscrew it and clean it (just with water) and dry it to prevent corrosion! Do not use cleaning agents or wash in the dishwasher!
